Portfolio - New websites - explanation of chargesSome Tourism Site Fix (TSF) customers have been surprised to see that some services have been provided by WebArtifice UK. This page explains the relationship TSF has with WebArtifice and hopefully answers any questions you have. If you have any queries that aren't addressed please contact us and we'll do our best to give you an answer. We aim to be entirely transparent with regard to the services we provide and both TSF and WebArtifice share the same goal: We aim to provide our clients with the best value for money service possible.
Andy, the owner of TSF, had been achieving excellent results promoting his online business (Wilderness Cottages) and had also been having success helping others promote their web sites. He felt that this was an area he wished to expand into and after discussions with Steve, the owner of WebArtifice (who developed Wilderness Cottages for Andy), they came up with a solution. TSF was born.
TSF are predominately an online marketing and promotion business with a strong customer base in Scotland. We also maintain web sites and manage services that we provide for our customers. If services such as design or hosting are required then we may decide to do this ourselves or, if the client will receive better value and a better service, we may sub contract work out to others. We will however always remain in control of the project and any contract will remain with us.
By building strong relationships with industry experts we can ensure our customers get the service we believe they deserve.
Tourism Site Fix and WebArtifice are two completely separate businesses but they have very strong links. If we believe that WebArtifice can provide a service that our clients require we employ them to do so on a sub-contractual basis. Typically WebArtifice may provide design, development and hosting for projects. However, TSF are in no way obliged to purchase WebArtifices' services and if we feel that alternative providers offer better value or level of service then we use them.
Steve does play an active role in TSF by providing technical advice and consultation when needed, but ultimately all the decisions regarding TSF clients are made by Andy. WebArtifice no longer trades independently in Scotland and all Scottish enquiries are dealt with by TSF.
Simply; this means that clients get the best value for money and a reliable service. While WebArtifice may manage some services, such as hosting, for us they will never bill or contact you directly. Any contract you have for service provision is with TSF and you can use our services confidently and in the knowledge that we have the support of WebArtifice who have a wealth of knowledge on all things internet related and who have been in business since the mid 1990's.
